Cisna

It is an initiative of the Government of Nariño that develops, articulates and promotes social innovation processes in the department by strengthening a regional ecosystem of social innovation among citizens, public entities and non-governmental organizations. It participated in the 2nd edition of the Civic and Gov Labs Residences Program in 2016, and was co-organizer of the Civic Innovation Lab for Peace in the Post-Conflict context (LABICxlaPAZ) in 2018. Equipo de Innovación Pública

The Public Innovation Team (PIT) of the State Modernization Group of the National Planning Department is a team in Colombia that contributes to enable innovation in order to offer new and better answers to public issues. The PIT focuses on three main action fronts: (1) connecting and articulating Colombia’s public innovation ecosystem; (2) strengthening capacities for experimentation in the public sector; and (3) promoting public policy guidelines on public innovation. Exploratorio

Under the philosophy of free culture and learning by doing, Explora Park in Medellín has a public workshop for experimentation called Exploratorio, where people and communities, in iteration and recurrence, meet to prototype ideas and develop projects. Created in 2016 it already has spaces like: Wood Laboratory, Biolab, Audiovisual Lab, Prototyping Lab, a community urban garden and the central workshop. More information here.

Lab Capital

The public innovation lab of the Oversight Office of the Bogota District, provides innovative ideas, methodologies, instruments and good practices so that public servants, in joint with citizens, collaborate in the production of added public value and civic quality of life. Lab Capital strengthens transparency and preventive control with citizens. The Lab participated in the 6th edition of the Civic and Gov Labs Residences Program in 2021. More information here

Lab CIudadano (civic lab), University of Caldas

Born as an innovation initiative of the University of Caldas that since 2021 has been working on updating the Community Development Plans (Pladecos) of all the Communes and Corregimientos of the city of Manizales in processes of design thinking methodology and co- creation. Originally called Metaterritorio, in 2021 evolved to Lab Ciudadano. Participated in the 4th edition of the Citizen and Government Labs Residences in 2018. More info here
