Citizen Innovation is the first space promoted by an international organization that works in an open and collaborative way with citizens.

We are an initiative coordinated by the Public and Citizen Innovation Division of the Ibero-American General Secretariat committed, since 2014, to the articulation between citizens and institutions to generate practical and replicable solutions to social, technological, economic and environmental challenges.

Citizen innovation involves a process in which citizens actively participate in the identification, design and execution of creative and collaborative solutions to address problems in their communities. By leveraging emerging technologies and adopting participatory methods, we foster a culture of transparency and inclusion, thereby empowering citizens to promote positive change in society.
